Part 2, Chapters 48-51 Summary and Analysis

In her next session, Annie continued her story about her experience with Melanie. Annie noted that sometimes Melanie would react to Annie in different ways. These differences reinforced Annie's fear that Melanie would abandon her one day. Annie admitted that she would sometimes test the relationship with Melanie to see how far she could push things.
