Summary
In Chapter 25, Marcus intervenes before Hector and Jill kiss each other by saying that it is time to leave. He reminds them that they have a game to play the next day when Hector protests. Jill also tries to get Marcus to go away. They leave. Jill admits that she is drunk and thinks that it is fun. Jill is the last person Marcus drops off. Lauren calls while Jill is in the car. When Jill makes it sound as if she has a problem, Marcus intervenes and talks to Lauren. Jill continues to talk to Lauren for the rest of the ride.
