Gwen

Queen of the Ring, she is the daughter of the former queen and beloved of her people. Gwen is a wise woman with regard to ruling her people but she fails to realize the uncivilized nature of the McClouds. She earns a great deal of love and loyalty by sending supplies to the villages in her kingdom, helping the people who are struggling just to fee themselves. She has sought to end a feud between the McClouds and MacGils through peaceful negotiations and entreaty but doesn’t understand that the McClouds are unreasonable people set on death and destruction above all else.
