Summary

In Chapter 12, Thor walks away from the training ground with a couple of men, including Kendrick, Gwen’s sister. Thor asks if he’s done something wrong but Kendrick says that Thor should have a rank of his own prior to his wedding to Gwen. Thor discovers that he’s being taken to Sacred Lake where he is to undergo a sacred ritual that will make him part of the Silver, an elite group of soldiers who are “lifelong warriors” for the Ring. Thor is surprised. As part of the ceremony, he’s asked if he accepts the honor which is a lifetime commitment. He does. He is pushed underwater and feels an incredible transformation while he’s there. He’s taken then to Brendan, the royal armorer, where he’s fitted with a lightweight, shiny armor worn only by members of the...
