Chapter 24 Summary
"Some Days There's Just Magic in the Air"
Tully is happy that Willie has agreed to help with Cleopatra's search; he'll write letter to them both when he returns to Lost Boys.
Making their way up river, Archie tells Ix-Nay and Tully how he ended up in this part of the world. He was in the Royal Marines, served in the Falklands War and spent time in Iraq and Pakistan. He was then stationed at Mountain Pine Ridge to teach jungle warfare. He says that he has "seen the world, been shot at and missed, from Belfast to Kafiristan" (pg. 234). Ix-Nay doesn't think that Kafiristan is real, but Archie tells him it's as real as Xibalba.
