Summary

Chapter 22

As Andronicus is about to kill Thor, Thor gets out of the way, and is able to lift the Destiny Sword out of the mud. Thor tells his father that sons have the power to choose their fathers, and he does not choose Andronicus. Thor realizes he must overcome his father in his mind, and does not have to actually kill him. Suddenly, he sees a road and a cliff-side castle, and he decides to follow the road, down which he knows his mother waits.

Erec’s mother gives Alistair a tour of the Southern Isles. Alistair feels at home here. She and Erec are to be wed the following day.
