Summary
Amar greets the guest arriving for his sister’s wedding. It has been three years since he left home and only came back because he was invited. He is surprised that old friends are so nice, as his parents only watch him from a distance. His sister - the bride Hadia - had invited him, but she worries about her family’s reactions. However, she is also nervous about her wedding as she is marrying someone whom she chose for herself. Hadia hopes that her father makes it through the wedding without incident, and asks her sister Huda to ask Amar to come to see them.
Meanwhile, their mother Layla greets the various guests. She believes that the wedding is coming together perfectly and the venue is decorated beautifully. She wishes her parent were alive to see the wedding but offers grateful...
