Fatma el-Sha’arawi

Fatma is the main protagonist and an Agent for the Ministry of Alchemy, Enchantments and Supernatural Entities. She does not follow any concrete gender rules and prefers to wear suits over anything feminine. Furthermore, Fatma is incredibly intelligent and well aware of the magic around her. While she still makes mistakes, she takes great care when talking to Djinn and other supernatural creatures so that she can work with their more difficult personality traits. Fatma also has many connections outside of the Ministry, especially among more oppressed and persecuted groups such as the cult members. While she is very open-minded, Fatma does make the occasional comment about her annoyance with men, often observing their penchant for gossip and how they treat women.
