Summary

Chapter 21 opens in Rami’s Books & Assorted Ephemera as Fatma asks about Zagros and the book. Rami is thrilled when Fatma mentions that he is meant to show them something they cannot see and calls for his wife, Tsega. He explains how The One Thousand and One Nights was created and asks about what the quest was searching for in a story called The City of Brass. Rami mentions brass vessels that once trapped a djinn and Hadia sees mentions of the Seal of Sulayman. The City of Brass speaks of a ring related to the seal that can control the djinn. However, when Rami asks what they were talking about, Fatma cannot remember until he reminds her.
