Summary

In Chapter 11, at the hotel, Anne approached them and asked if it was true that Charles had been killed. She was upset because everyone involved in the festival had to stay on the island. She claimed she had a doctor’s appointment she could not miss.

Horowitz sat with Anne as Hawthorne interviewed her. She said she did not like Charles because he gave the impression that he was not a very nice man. She said she had spoken to him at the party and asked about Abbott. Charles told her that Abbott had been in jail and that Charles never should have trusted him.
