Summary
After she graduated from law school, Brittany began working at Winstead PC, a Dallas law firm, in their Finance and Banking Group. Due to her long hours, she missed Sunday dinners at her grandmother’s. When she was finally able to attend one, she received a call from Loretta De-Ann Coffman. De-Ann had dated Brittany’s uncle in high school and stayed with their family when her own family disowned her for dating a Black man.
