Chapter 18-20 Summary

Chapter eighteen starts with Wednesday, October 31. Stephanie wakes John at midnight to tell him that the Fresh Start building is on fire and she runs out to start getting people out. John is very groggy, and by the time he gets there Stephanie is getting people out. John slowly remembers that Nest had left him a message. He had started after her but was stopped by Stephanie for a moment. John suddenly was so sleepy he couldn't move and then he woke to the fire. Fire and police show up quickly, and just as John is beginning to get worried, Stephanie walks out. Fresh Start burns an hour longer and they find the body of the night manager in the basement.
