Part One - Chapter 2 Summary

Morgan is going to see his female companion, Hazel, who lives in a flat he provides for her in town. She is a woman whom Morgan visits just to satisfy his sexual needs. Morgan enters the apartment and it is dark. He flicks on the light and a black youth startles him. The youth is smoking and wearing sunglasses and introduces himself as Sonny. Sonny says it is time for him to go and he leaves. Morgan is fuming over this, wondering who this person is. Hazel is showering. Morgan waits and she eventually comes out to meet him. Morgan questions her on who this male personage is and Hazel says it's her brother. Morgan is not so sure. He tells Hazel he doesn't want Sonny here anymore. He then proceeds to have sex with Hazel.
