Nattetta
Nattetta is a small village in Uganda. Kirabo grows up here living with her grandparents. Her grandfather is one of the wealthiest men in town. He is very progressive and believes deeply in the importance of education for children, especially girls. He opens his large house up to any teenagers and children who need a place to stay while attending the local schools, which he and his wife have worked hard to create and sustain. His house is only a short walk from Nsuuta's house. There is no running water or electricity in Nattetta, so Kirabo is tasked with fetching water every evening. Because the community is considered disadvantaged by urban standards, children who live here are allowed into prestigious boarding schools with lower scores than their urban peers.
