Summary

Chapter 1. October 26, 1962. Nate and Jack return to the White House to have breakfast. Jackie is there when they arrive. Jackie is polite, but quickly excuses herself to go check on the children. They discuss the morning’s events.

Chapter 2. Nate gets lost going to his room and runs into Jackie again. Jackie asks Nate to explain to her what is going on because Jack will not. Nate explains it briefly before Jackie directs him to his room. Nate goes to his room, comparing what he had gone through that morning with the danger he experienced in the war.

Chapter 3. Jack asks Nate to go view new photos coming in of Cuba, hoping Nate will spot something that the analysts do not. Jack also instructs Nate to have Miss Collins buy him more clothes. Nate is escorted to the secret headquarters by...
