Structure
The book is divided into six chapters, an epilogue, and a prologue. The book also contains a very detailed index and a group of pictures from Warren’s own family. The book was written in part as a memoir, a story of Warren’s life. However, it is also a book about her fight for middle-class America.
Warren is a politician, a woman who began her life without any dreams. She fought to go to school and fought to be a working mother when it was normal for a mother to stay home with her children. Warren fought against the system in her personal life, therefore it was no surprise that she fought in her professional life as well.
