Summary

In Chapter Twenty-seven, Thor and his friends are greeted as heroes. He wonders if Gwen is still waiting for him. He has been given a sword as a gift. He receives his Legion pin from Kolk because Kendrick and Erec are not at the ceremony. He is disappointed, but thrilled when Kolk smiles at him, telling him he is not half bad. It is not until during the night’s dancing that Thor finally sees Gwen as she sneaks up behind him and taps him on the shoulder.

Thor gives her the Orethist that he has had fixed as a necklace. Gwen tells him they can be together now that her mother is not in her right mind. She also points out the scar on her face, telling Thor that her brother tried to have her killed. She explains that...
