Chapters 17 through 20 Summary

In Jaime, as the funeral procession takes the late Lord Tywin out of the city of King's Landing, Jaime rides along side the column to talk to his relatives. Kevan assumes that Jaime is there on Cersei's account, and makes it obvious that he does know about Jaime and Cersei, and that Tommen is their son. After Kevan rides off, Jaime decides to test the theory that Cersei has been with their cousin Lancel. He makes a joke about Lancel's new wife to be, who is a widow. Lancel has never wed before, and Jaime tells him that his new wife will be glad to show him what goes where in the bedchamber.
