Summary
25 years later on Anna’s 75th birthday, she is back on Turtle Island. Tom now lives in Pat’s house, as Pat had passed away two years prior. However, she and Anna visited each other frequently on the island before her death. Violet and Bill are visiting their grandchildren as their daughter and her partner have begun caring for the cabins. Kirsty and Hamish are there, and Anna explains that Hamish is a doctor and visits her in Boston while working on his PhD. Tom’s symptoms manifested in his early fifties, but he has many new drugs to help. Hillary still has not been tested, but her grandchildren are healthy.
