Summary

The next day, Pat convinces Anna to go snorkeling at a shallow lagoon. While there, Anna comes to enjoy it. Over the next few weeks, while waiting to help tag the turtles, Anna joins Pat for daily swims and chats with her much younger campers. One day, she talks with a pregnant visitor named Kirsty who came to the island to enjoy her freedom before having the baby. Anna learns the baby’s father is a married man and Kirsty has no interest in seeing him again. Later, Anna learns how to tag and monitor the turtles and even manages to tag one herself, despite not remembering the numbers.
