Summary

In Chapter 17. Bubba arrives with guns and other weapons, including some grenades. Bubba also offers Patrick the use of some missiles, but Patrick points out that they'd take out an entire neighborhood instead of just the bad guys. Patrick and Angie attend Jenna's funeral. They're surprised to find lots of cars, ranging from Maseratis to “beat-up street sleds.” Police officers are there in force. Marion Socia is on one side of the coffin with members of his gang, the Raven Saints. There's a younger black man surrounded by his gang on the other side of the coffin. Police officers stand nearby, alert for problems.

Patrick and Devin talk about the current situation. Devin says Curtis Moore is Socia's “favorite lieutenant” and that Socia is furious that Patrick's shot caused the amputation of Curtis's foot. Devin says Socia is mad enough to kill Patrick...
