Part 3, Chapter 2 Summary
Edward is avoiding Micky and Micky is worried, especially if it affects the money for the Santamaria harbor project. Augusta is also acting strangely. Papa Miranda is close to starting the revolution and Micky does not want anything to stand in the way. He needs the money to pay for the revolution, after which Carlos will be president and Micky will be prime minister and Carlos's successor.
Micky asks Hugh if he knows what the problem is and Hugh says that Edward found out that Micky killed Peter Middleton and that Micky lied to him and Augusta about it. Micky's biggest worry is the loan money, not the police. He finally meets Edward at April's and Edward tells him that he knows the truth about Peter.
