Summary

In Chapter 28, Morrigan comes to terms with Rhysand's decisions regarding Keir and Eris, citing them as one of the many costs of war. Fayre calls a healer for Elain. The healer says there is nothing physically wrong with Elain, though she is undoubtedly changed. She suggests Lucien might be able to reach her, because of their mating bond.

In Chapter 29, Amren and Nesta continue their mental training. Fayre and Morrigan sit in the living room while Lucien and Elain have tea in strained silence. Elain is startled and Lucien apologizes for pulling on their mating bond. Elain seems engaged for a moment, then seems to slip away. She talks of a white raven and a black raven.
