Summary

Samuel Perkins and Lemuel go to Chinatown for sport. Lemuel begins to regret the outing when Perkins mocks an old Chinese man sitting on the sidewalk with racist remarks. The man retorts and Perkins moves to strike him but the man pulls out a hatchet. Perkins blusters and walks away but is not ashamed. Perkins stops at an unlicensed liquor shop and coaxes Lemuel to go in for a whiskey. Lemuel tells him he doesn't drink and they go separate ways. Lemuel continues walking through the district until a glass bottle smashes on the ground next to his feet. He looks around but all he sees is a business called Wu Fong, Wet Wash Laundry.
