Summary

In Part 7, Chapter 1, Kell says goodbye to his adopted mother Queen Emira, who is unexpectedly kind. Previously, Emira was very cold to her adopted son. She gifts him a child's tunic with his initials stitched onto it, a symbol of officially fully accepting him into the family. Kell is touched. He goes to Tieren and makes the head magician swear to place the entire city to sleep if Osaron does not follow them to the black market and begins his attacks again. Tieren promises.

In Chapter 2, the group (Kell, Lila, Alucard, Lenos, and Jasta) sets out on horseback for Ferase Stras, the black market. They are surprised that Kell brought Holland along with him, but he explains that he hopes to lure Osaron away from the city to save the populace. Jasta punches Holland in anger before they all...
