Chapter 2, Arya and Chapter 3, Sansa Summary

Yoren helps Arya escape from King's Landing after her father, Eddard Stark, is executed. Arya pretends to be an orphan boy traveling with Yoren's band of men he has recruited for the Night's Watch. Yoren plans to take her to her home at Winterfell. Arya is teased by two orphan boys, Lommy Greenhands and Hot Pie, who want her sword. Arya attacks them until Yoren stops her and admonishes her. Yoren tells Arya that her father was supposed to be joining the watch, but was killed instead by King Joffrey Baratheon. He said this is why Yoren was waiting at King's Landing.

Sansa Stark goes with Ser Arys to a tournament honoring King Joffrey. Sansa is engaged to Joffrey. Arys tells Sansa that Joffrey's grandfather, Lord Tywin Lannister, was ordered by Joffrey's mother, Cersei, to...
