Summary
Chapter 25
Thor rides alone to his home village. His father was angry and disappointed with Thor when he left, and how Thor wonders how he will be received in the place he grew up. He reaches the village and finds it unchanged. He goes to his old home and discovers the door has been left open. He hears his father working on the forge in back, and goes to him. Thor's father is shocked, but old resentment quickly wins him over, and he mocks his son. The two argue, and Thor realizes that his father now means nothing to him. His father, who has grown increasingly angry, attempts to shake him, but Thor pushes him back. He asks about his real mother, and his father tries to avoid the question, but Thor manages to learn that she was, in fact, a druid. And...
