Summary
In "PT Sir," PT Sir refuses to help when the microphone malfunctions at a school assembly.
In "Jivan," Jivan waits for Purnendu to print her story, convinced she will soon be freed. When she sees the paper she is horrified. Purnendu cast her as a longtime disgruntled citizen, twisting her stories of poverty, her presence at the station to implicate her in the attacks. Her mother visits, urging her not to lose heart.
In "Jivan's Mother and Father," Jivan's parents grieve Jivan's situation.
In "Jivan," Jivan's trial begins. The government lawyer twists Jivan's story. The judge discards Jivan's confession, as it was forced. Jivan feels hopeful.
