Chapter 8 Summary

Vincent finds Jackie asleep in the office. As Vincent watches her sleep he starts to fantasize about her the things he would do to physically pleasure her when suddenly, she has a physical reaction to his fantasy. Vincent realizes that he unconsciously transferred his fantasy into her open mind.

Vincent gets ready for the day and goes to his office with Jackie and Marguerite to get another copy of the employee list while using the story that he is showing his new assistant around and showing this aunt his production company.

When they arrive Jackie makes the suggestion that they chance the security guard shifts around since there are immortals on the night shift and mortals on the day shift. Jackie wants him to change the shifts so there is at least one immortal on shift between the hours of five pm and...
