Chapter 3 Summary

Marguerite arrives at Vincent's home and meets Jackie and Tiny. Marguerite is very suspicious as to why they are there but Tiny and Jackie manage to block their minds so that she doesn't find out why they are staying with Vincent. Vincent goes out to feed and Jackie finds herself "concerned" about where he is. Jackie goes to her room and as she is thinking about Vincent she comes to the admission that she finds him attractive, however, she reminds herself that he is a vampire and cannot become involved with another vampire. She drifts into the memory of her first love Cassius who was a vampire. She met Cassius while working for her father when she was 19.
