Darcy Barrett
Darcy Barrett is a young woman in her mid-twenties with a background in photography who lives in her family’s home. She has struggled with a heart condition since her childhood as well as a huge crush on her twin brother’s best friend, Tom Valeska. After her grandmother’s death, the family decides to renovate her cottage and sell it, enlisting Tom’s help as a contractor. Her efforts to guard her heart while finally getting closer to Tom are drawn-out throughout the entire novel.
