Chapters 19-20 Summary
In chapter nineteen, Will and Cheryl arrive at the airport, but the military is running drills so they are told to wait for an opening in the takeoff schedule. Will decides he cannot wait and boards the plane against the instructions of the tower. Will takes off with the tower and the FBI calling him, warning that he is placing himself and his pilot's license in danger. Will shuts off the radio. Will must choose one of two highways to follow and he decides on the I-55, the most logical route for Huey to take. As they are flying toward the highway, the phone rings. Will cuts the engines so that Hickey will not know where they are. Will speaks to Hickey and assures him that everything is okay. A minute later Hickey calls again. Cheryl answers this time and convinces...
