Chapters 17-18 Summary
In chapter seventeen, Hickey and Karen are driving down the highway when Hickey becomes aware of police surveillance. Hickey turns toward the airport. Hickey calls Huey and he reports that Abby has been in the bathroom frequently that morning. Karen knows what this means and becomes frantic to reach Abby and give her her medication.
Will is shown into the manager's office at the bank. After he tells the manager what he needs, a man comes out of a bathroom and introduces himself as Special Agent Chalmers with the FBI. Chalmers explains that the FBI have found the cabin and are about to raid it. Chalmers also tells Will that the FBI has located Hickey and placed him under surveillance.
