Chapters 5-6 Summary
In chapter five, Will speaks to Hickey and tries to convince him to get Abby's insulin to her. Will makes threats, promising that if his daughter has complications because of her diabetes, he will make Hickey pay. Hickey is highly hostile to Will during this conversation even as he agrees to take the medication to Abby. At the same time, Abby wakes in a cabin in the woods with Huey Cotton watching over her. Abby is frightened.
Karen and Hickey drive in Karen's car nearly an hour out into the country. Karen is blindfolded most of the time so that she has no idea where she is going. When the car stops, Hickey allows her to get out and see to Abby's needs. While Karen checks Abby's blood sugar and prepares her insulin injection, she tells Abby to steal Huey's cell...
