In chapter 107, Lindsay pays another visit to Jenks. Jenks confirms that he left Joanna as he became famous, leaving her without any of the money despite the fact that she worked two jobs while Jenks began his career. Jenks also tells Lindsay that Joanna once worked at Saks. In chapter 108, Lindsay talks with the Women's Murder Club again and finally convinces Jill to check into Joanna's background.
