Summary
Finn describes how he feels just prior to an epileptic seizure. He usually smells something sweet like flowers or maple syrup and then he's unable to find the words for anything he sees or is feeling. Overall, Finn loves the feeling. Finn recalls blanking out after taking a hot shower in the boys' locker room after a game one day and being embarrassed because one of the paramedics was a woman who saw him naked. After a seizure, Finn feels exhausted and depressed and he prefers the world where everything is beautiful and soundless during a seizure.
