Summary

Finn Easton muses that he has come from the pages of a book that his father wrote, and that his life has already been scripted by his father. Finn attends Burnt Mill Creek High School with his friend Cade Hernandez where the teachers are always trying to get the kids to quit something: drinking, driving too fast, etc. The current quit mission is spearheaded by history teacher, Mr. Nossik, who wants the kids to quit saying "fuck." Mr. Nossik likes to dress up to make history lessons more interesting. One day he is dressed like a Nazi officer and Cade relentlessly asks him why Cade gets an erection in his class every day.
