Andrew Harnack is a professor of English at Eastern Kentucky University. He teaches composition courses at all levels, from freshman to advanced, as well as history of rhetoric and theories of composition. His publications include numerous articles on Renaissance literature, especially seventeenth-century poets. He has served as executive secretary and president for the Kentucky Philological Association. Having received his university’s Excellence in Teaching Award, Professor Harnack is currently EKU’s Writing Program administrator.
