In the last week of December 1980, something strange happened in Rendlesham Forest, a woods between RAF Woodbridge and RAF Bentwaters, two NATO air bases in eastern England.
Between December 27 and 30 there were several sightings of strange lights, a strange craft, and, according to some witnesses, even aliens. The British Parliament and Ministry of Defense officially dismissed the case, saying that it did not present a security problem. But rumors about it traveled through UFO circles, and almost immediately, UFO investigators were onto the story, interviewing witnesses and trying to obtain confirmation.
