Martin Lindstedt

In the following viewpoint, Martin Lindstedt argues that violence against the U.S. government is justified because the government has ceased to be a democracy. According to Lindstedt, the government violates the Constitution and the rights of American citizens through tactics such as excessive taxation, unlawful imprisonment, and murder. He asserts that the present- day situation is worse than that faced by the colonies during the American Revolution and that the time has come to fight in order to create a better future.
