Wendy Mass holds a B.A. in English from Tufts University and an M.A. in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach. She is the cofounder and editor of a national literary journal for teenagers called Writes of Passage and is the author of fiction and nonfiction books and articles for young adults. She has worked as a book editor for Longmeadow Press and Reader's Digest Young Families and currently lives in San Francisco, California.
