Premarital sexual activity, teen pregnancies, and sexually transmitted diseases have risen with the increase in explicit sexeducation programs in the schools. Thus, little evidence exists that sex education reduces teen sex and illegitimacy as its supporters claim. The best way to reduce teen sex, pregnancy, and abortion rates is to restrict government-funded birth control and abortions.
