Police corruption is a serious problem for society, yet Americans do not rise up in protest over the latest revelations of police wrongdoing. People give many excuses for their inaction over police corruption, but the real reason is that they are selfish. As long as police corruption is directed toward poor minorities, middleand upper-class Americans will continue to allow innocent people to be abused by police.
