Alex Gino
Society needs to accept the notion that not everyone fits neatly into one of the two commonly accepted gender categories, argues Alex Gino in the following viewpoint. Gino contends that many people, such as transsexuals and cross-dressers, behave in ways that are more typical of the opposite sex. In addition, Gino asserts, intersexual people fall in between the two categories. Gino argues that people should not be forced into a category and should be able to live as they choose.
