Paul Kurtz

As it is becoming increasingly popular to adopt New Age beliefs into traditional ways of thinking, it is also popular to believe what is read or talked about without evidence. The Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal, or CSICOP, works at investigating paranormal claims, often debunking common beliefs. Paul Kurtz holds a Ph.D. in philosophy from Columbia University and is currently chairman of CSICOP. He has written more than thirty books and over six hundred articles, many on the subject of paranormal investigation.
