Susan Blackmore

According to the Gallup organization and near-death research studies, an estimated 13 million adults in the United States have had a near-death experience (NDE). Most experiencers agree that it had a profound effect on their life. However, whether these experiences actually prove the existence of an afterlife remains debatable. Susan Blackmore holds a Ph.D. in parapsychology from the University of Surrey, is the author of The Meme Machine, and is a respected expert in this field. She has studied NDEs for many years.
