Kazim Saeed
Responding to arguments that the media unfairly portrays Muslims as terrorists, Kazim Saeed contends in the following viewpoint that media stereotypes do not define the image of Muslims; in fact, he proposes, the reactions of Muslims to media stereotypes say more about Muslims than the stereotypes themselves. Instead of complaining about media caricatures, Saeed writes, Muslims should focus their attention on veritable issues of concern, such as U.S. foreign policy toward Muslim countries.
