There is not enough evidence to support the theory that humans are responsible for global warming or that this warming will lead to catastrophic changes in climate. The higher incidence of severe weather in the Pacific during the past decade is not necessarily the result of global warming, and recent climate-prediction research shows no correlation between rising global temperatures and an increase in the frequency of storms.
