In the following viewpoint, David Hoile contends that the efforts of anti-slavery groups to eradicate the African slave trade are based on falsehoods and threaten the future of Sudan. According to Hoile, real slavery doesn’t exist in Sudan; rather people pose as slaves and slave owners in order to get the reward that slave-redeemers are offering.
