Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity

The Center for Bioethics and Human Dignity (CBHD) is an organization dedicated to addressing current biomedical issues such as euthanasia, reproductive technologies, and genetic intervention. The CBHD is based at Trinity International University in Bannockburn, Illinois.

Despite the existing congressional ban on federal funding for human embryo experimentation that involves the destruction of embryos, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) contends that human embryonic stem (ES) cell research is legal. In addition, DHHS argues that ES cell research should be federally
